1. Safety Warning & Proper Operation

By purchasing and operating an electric vehicle from our platform, you acknowledge and agree that riding any personal electric mobility device involves inherent risks of injury, accident, or property damage.

  • Protective Gear: We strongly recommend always wearing an approved, certified safety helmet, along with knee, elbow, and wrist pads during every ride.
  • Pre-Ride Checklist: Before every ride, users must perform a basic safety check, including verifying brake responsiveness, tire pressure, and the structural integrity of folding locks or latches.
  • Age Limits: Our products are designed strictly for riders who meet the legal age requirements specified by the traffic laws in their country of residence.

2. Regional Traffic Regulations & Compliance

ZonMoto International Limited distributes high-performance electric mobility vehicles engineered for diverse environments.

  • Local Statutes: Traffic laws governing electric personal mobility devices (such as e-scooters) vary significantly across different European Union countries, states, and municipalities.
  • Rider Responsibility: It is the user's sole responsibility to research, understand, and comply with all local regulations, including speed limits, license plate registration, insurance obligations, and designated riding zones (e.g., bike lanes, roads, or private property).
  • Public Road Restraints: Certain high-speed, high-power models (such as the dual-motor or off-road variants) may be restricted to private property use only, depending on your local jurisdiction.

3. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, ZonMoto International Limited shall not be held liable or responsible for:

  • Any bodily injury, death, property damage, or incidental accidents arising from improper vehicle operation, user negligence, or failure to adhere to safety instructions.
  • Any mechanical or software alterations made to the vehicle (including, but not limited to, speed limit modifications, firmware hacking, or third-party hardware additions) by the user or unauthorized third parties.
  • Damage resulting from improper storage, neglect, exposure to moisture, or extreme weather conditions.

4. Battery Safety, Charging, & Disposal

  • Approved Chargers Only: Only charge the battery using the official, original charger supplied with the vehicle. Third-party chargers pose severe fire risks and may degrade battery cells.
  • Supervised Charging: Never leave the battery charging unattended for extended periods or in close proximity to flammable substances. Always charge in a well-ventilated, dry area.
  • Eco-Friendly Disposal: Dispose of depleted or damaged lithium-ion batteries responsibly, in strict accordance with your local environmental and recycling regulations.
